    label: jungle

Four songs about sex, from four decades. Typical Fodder quirky intelligent pop! Limited edition of 250. Family Fodder, best known for their string of idiosyncratic, playful experimental post-punk singles such as Debbie Harry, Savoir Faire, Film Music and Playing Golf, have had a slew of recent activity. The early recordings have been given respectful reissue treatments on CD and LP by German label Staubgold. Then US band YACHT released a souped-up electro-pop cover version of ‘Fuck You Til I’m Dead’, causing worldwide news items with an ill-judged video ‘Sex Tape’ shock tactic. Now, the lost album 'Foreverandever' is being renovated for CD and digital release, along with a 7” EP ‘Sex Works’. In recent years Fodder godfather Alig Fodder has collaborated with Psapp and David Shrigley, toured Europe with a revived Fodder line-up, and issued new Family Fodder albums together with vocalist Darlini Singh Kaul, daughter of original Fodder singer Dominique Levillain, on The State 51 Conspiracy label. y dance floor.* This is a cut of the same rhythm used on El Indio’s `Do You Remember’. Produced by Liam McGurk and mixed by Dougie `Conscious Sounds’. Tracklist: A. Danny Red / False Preacher Man / B. Partial Crew / Blnd Shepherd Version
